
Who was Officer Sean Collier?
Sean was an MIT police officer, as well as an enthusiastic MITOC member, who was killed in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings on April 18, 2013. He was a friend to many in MITOC and across the MIT community.

What is the Sean A. Collier Adventure Grant?
Created in 2016, the Collier Adventure Grant is a grant to help MITOC members undertake adventures and challenge themselves in the great outdoors, the way Sean did. This grant provides funding so you can grow as an outdoorsperson, no matter your ability level or experience. For more information, check out the FAQ page and application.
